Racetrack Playa
Description
A rock from the nearby cliffs leaves a trail as is races around the playa. This phenomenon occurs when the land freezes over and the strong winds push rocks slowly over time, leaving behind and indention of where it once resided. Captured using a vintage 4x5 field camera. Death Valley National Park - February 2022
