Description
Lake Atitlán resides in a massive volcanic crater in the southwestern region of Guatemala. There are numerous towns surrounding the lake that rely on it for the main source of transportation and trade between villages. In the distance you can see two of the major surrounding volcanoes overshadowing the deepest lake in Central America.
Captured using a vintage Hasselblad 500cm which offers a square format on film.
