Panajachel

Description
One of the lesser known towns on the coast of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, the people here cover their buildings in vibrant colors and murals to boost tourism on their corner of the lake. The vantage point for this photograph is taken from a restaurant above the town with 'mirador' labeled on the side. Mirador means lookout in Spanish and allows for spectacular views of the surroundings. Captured using a vintage Hasselblad 500cm which offers a square format on film. Guatemala - July 2023
