Description
San Juan La Laguna is a popular town along the edge of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. The main dock is at the base of a steep and colorful roadway through the center of the town. In the distance, one of numerous volcanoes resides along the edge of the lake which is at home in a volcanic crater. The path through town is abundant with artisans, restaurants and many stores filled with knickknacks and souvenirs for the constant tourism that comes to the lake.
